Depending on your substance of choice, how long you've been using and daily intake volume, your withdrawal effects can vary from a few days to a week or longer person to person.

Our onsite clinical team will help to mage any withdrawal symptoms you may experience, and can provide a range of medications to help you through a safe & scheduled detox process
Upon arrival at Miracles Asia, you will receive a comprehensive assessment and if any severe symptoms are identified you may be transferred to one of our partnering internationally-accredited private hospitals for a few days.
If you are expecting any major withdrawal symptoms, please talk with the Admissions Team and discuss any details of current symptoms or any previous experiences in trying to change your habits before seeking help from a
drug rehab in Thailand.
The exact length of your detox will range depending on the your drug use history, and any other health factors, but an acute detox should be complete within 7-10 days.
After this initial period, you may continue to experience some symptoms, but to a much lesser extent, and should be able to engage fully in the addiction treatment program.

Is your detox program safe?
Yes, our detox program is safe. We only use evidence-based detox methods that are approved by the Thailand Ministry of Public Health. In addition, all Miracles Asia staff members are highly trained and experienced in helping people through the detoxification process.
How long does the detoxification process last?
The length depends on each individual’s unique situation. However, most people complete the detoxification process within 7-10 days.
What meals are included in the detox program?
We offer a variety of delicious Thai food as well as Western dishes, and we can accommodate most dietary restrictions. Our team of professional culinary staff can even cook special request dishes, including Thai favorites, such as Pad Kra Pao Gai, a chicken and basil stir-fry that is both delicious and nutritious, or Tom Yum soup, a traditional Thai soup that is perfect for detox.
Will the detox process help me lose weight?
While we are not a weight loss retreat, many of our clients do report weight loss as a result of our detox program. This is because when you rid your body of toxins and eat healthy, nutritious meals, your body naturally starts to shed excess weight.
Is traditional Thai massage used during the detox process?
While traditional Thai massage can aid in the detoxification process, generally speaking most guests who visit Miracles Asia for addiction treatment won't have a massage until their withdrawal symptoms have subsided.
